Pure Marine was founded in June 2007, bringing together a potent mix of commercial and technical expertise, including an experienced Marine energy team, to develop the business, technology and engineering solutions needed to harness our indigenious wave and tidal energy resources.

The focus of the Pure Marine's ‘thought-leading' team is on addressing the major challenge facing the growing marine energy industry - how to produce more energy at a lower cost.

Support and funding from the Carbon Trust and Inter-trade Ireland has helped to fast track the development of Pure Marine's ocean energy technology solutions and site development activities.
